Siteprint Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Siteprint creates JSON, TOON, Markdown, and HTML snapshots of the webpage you choose in the extension. This policy explains what Siteprint processes when you click Generate.
Information Siteprint processes
When you click Generate, Siteprint receives the rendered content of the current HTTPS webpage, including its page structure, visible content, styles, layout information, and a rendered HTML snapshot. It also processes the webpage URL and origin, the generated JSON, TOON, Markdown, and HTML artifacts, and identifiers that associate an origin with its generated blueprint.
Siteprint creates an installation token to authenticate the extension. It also records limited operational telemetry: scan started, scan completed, or scan failed; timestamps; and numeric or boolean scan metadata such as counts and warnings.
How Siteprint uses this information
Siteprint uses the information above only to create, store, deliver, regenerate, and delete the requested snapshot artifacts and to operate and improve the reliability of the service.
Transfer and storage
Siteprint sends the information described above to Siteprint servers over HTTPS. Generated artifacts, origin-to-blueprint identifiers, installation information, and telemetry are stored on Siteprint servers while needed to provide the feature. Siteprint does not sell this information or use it for advertising.
Artifact links are unguessable URLs, but anyone who possesses one of those URLs can access the corresponding published artifact. Do not generate a snapshot for content that you do not want shared with people who may receive its artifact link.
Deletion and retention
Use the extension’s Delete all Siteprint data control to delete stored blueprints and artifacts, origin-to-blueprint mappings, telemetry, and the extension’s local data associated with the installation. The associated installation is then deactivated.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Siteprint's use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
